Woman Behind The Lens

At heart, I'm a small town Alberta girl gone city. Sucker for a honey gold field and a slow drive down a back road. It is incredibly meaningful to look back on the years with my family through photographs. These images are a way back in time, a way to re-visit, to evoke our big feelings and emotions through imagery. They are a constant, clear reminder of how lucky we are to do this life together. Laughing and exploring. I try to bring to life colours I see when I am with them. I think my father's old film camera and the boxes of developed photographs I would sit and go through as a child is where my connection with photography rooted so deeply from.
